Design Rule Check
A DRC (Design Rule Check) is an automated EDA verification that ensures a chip layout meets foundry process constraints in the PDK. Modern DRC includes geometry, density, lithography-aware, and DFM checks and is used as part of sign-off alongside LVS and ERC.
